National Signing Day for high school athletes will take place Wednesday, February 1, and is hosted by PlayOn! Sports. The day will be dedicated to high school seniors who have decided to take offers from college universities to play sports, participate in theater, and various other activities.

Over 30 schools will participate in the signing day festivities. According to a press release, Georgia Southern University has a recruit coming from Buford High School, who is scheduled to sign during a live ceremony Wednesday morning at 7:30 a.m.
The day should turn out to be a success for high schools, colleges, and the PlayOn! Sports organization.

“We are thrilled our high school partners have selected the PlayOn! Sports platform to recognize the achievement of their student athletes,” said Mark Rothberg, Director of the PlayOn! Sports Broadcast Program, in the press release. “Making signing day even more exciting is that these live streaming programs will be produced by students who will in turn be able to take the skills and knowledge they’ve learned in the School Broadcast Program with them to their own college experience and beyond.”

Over 90 student athletes will announce their college selections on Wednesday.
