The reported complaint was due to a suspicious bag left in room 1133 of the Education Building that could possibly resemble marijuana, according to the GSU police report. The complainant, Brett Monroe, found a bag containing a leafy green substance under one of the chairs on the ground, according to the police report. GSU police are in the process of deciding whether or not to test this substance to determine that this is in fact marijuana, said Michael Russell, Chief of GSU Department of Public Safety. “We may or may not test what is inside the bag. We tend to be good at determining what is marijuana and what isn’t, but we haven’t come to a decision yet,” said Russell. The police report states that due to the fact the owner of this substance is unknown, this case has been cleared.
