At the present, all we have online are scanned images of the early editions, but in the future we will offer full-text and PDF downloads as well. The images on this site are high-quality JPEGs that should be suitable for full-page printing. Please contact us if you need higher-quality images, as we have 300dpi TIFFs (approximately 35MB each) saved on our server.

The images’ filenames are in this format:
19270601-1. This stands for year, month, and date, followed by
the page number. So 19270601-1 represents June 1, 1927, page 1.
The images are all 1000 pixels wide, which provides a good compromise between readability and file size. For ease of viewing and less scrolling, please set your monitor to 1024x768 or higher. Broadsheet pages from 1959 through 1963 are about 1300 pixels wide. The newspaper resumed printing in tabloid size starting in 1963.
An on-campus or high-speed connection is highly recommended to view the galleries—the average filesize is 500KB. Broadsheet pages are 900MB.
